    If you enjoy cozy little bars which most would consider "dive bar", this place is great. It has cheap, strong drinks (like "coke for color" strong), amusing clientele, and friendly staff. Great for you and your spouse. If you're looking to impress a date, this is the WRONG place to go unless your date is super cool and you're testing how they would react to being taken there. If so, carry on, good person!

    Great little spot for late night eats! Heck , it's great anytime of day! I really enjoy the atmosphere , it's a nice place to kick back with friends and not feel rushed. I've been here a couple of times now and the service was always attentive. I think the food is slightly overpriced compared to similar style diners but , the food does deliver what you you expect. Overall , I recommend Fat Dave's , especially for late night cravings.

    Absolutely fabulous food, great servings and a unique menu. The customer service was top notch as the moment we came in we had attention. Made our night. P.s. only place my girl can find GOOD liver and onions. We found our new date spot!!!

    Good food, good service, large portions. Small town feel. My dad had the fried shrimp dinner: soup or salad, choice of potatoes, two large pieces of garlic bread, and (of course) large butterfly fried shrimp. I had the French dip with baked potato. The sandwich was cut in half, each half was the size of a large cheeseburger. I'm a big eater and took half the sandwich home for later. The baked potato comes with sour cream and "butter". I put that in quotes because, I THINK it was butter, not margarine. It was difficult to be sure. They mix bacon bits and shredded cheddar cheese into the "butter" then scoop servings into small paper cups and refrigerate them until use. The potato was not as well baked as I prefer, but it was good. Our coffees and our waters never got a chance to be empty. I tend to drink a lot of water while eating. Despite being fairly busy, never had to ask for a refill, our server or another server was always there refilling our drinks. Very happy about that. There were several regulars, Fat Dave's has been there for decades. If you're looking for a small town diner with good food and reasonable prices, this is the place.

    It was late, we were starving and we had a long drive ahead of us. A quick Google search brought us here. Easy access right off the 5. Quick, kind and attentive service throughout our delicious and filling meal. My coffee was topped off regularly and we had to grab a box for the extra pancakes. We will definitely be back - probably late and starving
